Turn on notifications in **Settings → Notifications** on each device you want them on. You can use up to 10 devices. Adding another replaces the oldest.

On iPhone and iPad, add Yellowbird to your Home Screen first. Open it in Safari, tap **Share**, then **Add to Home Screen**.

## What you'll hear about

- **New mail in Screening**: someone new wrote to your real address.
- **Leaked aliases**: an alias got its first unexpected sender. You can switch this one off.
- **Backup code sign-ins**: someone signed in to your account with one of your [backup codes](/help/passkeys-and-backup-codes).

Notifications only name the sender or the alias. They never include the subject or any of the message.

## Daily digest

Turn on **Daily digest** in **Settings → Notifications** to get a message from Yellowbird in your inbox once a day. It's mail, not a notification, so it never shows on your lock screen. Choose the hour it arrives; it uses this device's time zone unless you pick another.

It lists new mail in your inbox, who's waiting in [Screening](/help/screening), aliases that [leaked](/help/leaks), and how much mail to blocked aliases and senders was held back. On days when nothing happened, it doesn't arrive.

On a paid plan, an AI summary at the top picks out what most likely needs you. It's written from the subjects and previews of new mail in your inbox, by Cloudflare's Workers AI. It never reads mail from people waiting in Screening or from blocked senders, and it can be wrong, so the full list is always below it. See our [privacy notice](/privacy#who-processes-your-data) for more.

## Turning them off

Choose **Turn off** or **Remove** next to a device in **Settings → Notifications**, or block notifications for Yellowbird in your browser.
