## Exporting

From **Settings → Account** you can download:

- All your mail, as an `.mbox` file that most email apps can import
- Your aliases, as a spreadsheet (CSV)

## Deleting your account

Choose **Delete account** in **Settings → Account**. It happens straight away and can't be undone. Export anything you want to keep first.

Deleting removes all your mail, aliases, passkeys, backup codes, sessions and notification settings.

If you're on a paid plan, deleting ends it straight away and the time left isn't refunded. If you paid in the last 14 days, email [support@yellowbird.email](mailto:support@yellowbird.email) for a refund before you delete.

Your username and alias addresses are retired, not freed. Nobody can sign up with them later and receive mail meant for you.
